Who Will Win the 2017 TKPT Caribbean Main Event?

Only eight hopefuls out of a 84-entry strong field remain for the final day of the 2017 TK Poker Tour Caribbean $1,150 Main Event and all finalists have $3,000 locked up for their efforts, while all eyes are set on the first-place payout of $25,100. The action will resume in half an hour from now at 4 p.m. local time at the Casino Royale on Sint Maarten / Netherland Antilles and Mohan “Ronny” Karran is leading the final table line up.

Karran, who bagged up 482,000, soared into the lead late on Day 2 after eliminating Michael Lech and Albert Lunenborg, edging out former dominating chip leader Arman Soltani (431,000) and Mario Eder (397,000). Soltani lost a massive pot just before the unofficial final table was set after flopping top two pair against the bottom set of Pierre Goetz (405,000).

The other hopefuls include Vincent Distribue (110,000), Viktor Karkus (100,000), Julien Bonnel (94,500) and Albert Balayn (62,500). Action resumes with half an hour left in level 18 at blinds of 2,500-5,000 and a running ante of 500.
