Welcome to Day 2 of Event #22 and Day 1a of the WSOPC Caribbean Main Event
In half an hour from now as of 3.30 p.m. local time, Day 2 of the $365 No Limit Hold’em Event #22 kicks off with 18 hopefuls remaining out of a 121-entry strong field. The money bubble is near as the top 12 spots will get paid at least $760 whereas the winner gets a juicy payday of $10,900.
Two players from Barbados are in the lead thus far with George Griffith (254,000) and Timothy Cavallin (161,500). In third place is yesterday’s PLO champion Martin Ryan with 114,000 closely followed by Mohammed Elmazouni (113,500) and Gerald Mortensen (107,000). Among the short stacks still in are Jason Rivkin (45,000), Jeffrey Colpitts (30,500) and Stevan Prager (27,500).
The action will resume with level 16 and blinds of 1,500-3,000 and a running ante of 500, and the tournament is scheduled to play down to a winner today.

Furthermore, a Freeroll Satellite just kicked off and as of 9 p.m. there will be a Super Satellite for the 2016 WSOPC Caribbean $1,675 Main Event. The flagship event of the festival gets underway at 6 p.m. local time with Day 1a and provides a guarantee of $250,000. All players are allowed one re-entry per each of the two starting days and the starting stack is 20,000 chips, registration will remain open until the start of Day 2 on Monday at 3.30 p.m. local time. Each Day 1 will feature 11 levels of 40 minutes each, while the level duration then increases to 60 minutes as of Day 2 and for the final day on November 15th.
