Lunenborg Doubles; Karkus Gets Shorter
$1,150 TKPT Main Event Day 2 13/84
Level 16: 1,500-3,000 / Ante 500
Albert Lunenborg shoved for his last 22,500 and Christophe Enrici reshoved from one seat over. Lunenborg showed the AcJc and Enrici had a flip with 9c9s. The board came KsJs7dJh3d and the trips jacks won the pot for Lunenborg. Enrici was left with around 35,000, then claimed the blinds and antes once with a shove.
Over on table one, Viktor Karkus lost a bigger pot against the flopped set of deuces of Mohan Karran and then raised to 8,000 soon after. Karran called in the small blind and the flop of 7h2s2d and the 6c turn were checked through. On the Kc river, Karran checked and Karkus bet 17,000.
Karran eventually called and announced queen-high, which was no good as Karran had Ks10s for kings and deuces. Karran boosted his stack to 360,000, while Karkus has around 100,000 left.
