Last Break of the Day
$1,150 TKPT Main Event Day 1c 23/49
Level 9: 300-600 / Ante 100
Two of the three remaining tables already raced off their green T-25 chips, but one table was active and running on the last hand of level nine. After a raise by Ricardo Cheng-A-June, Frederic Maniez three-bet on the button and Mohan Karran four-bet from one seat over. Cheng-A-June folded, but Maniez called and also called a big bet on the 8s7s4h flop. On the 7h turn, there were some 58,000 in the middle and Karran moved all in with the superior stack.
Maniez, who had started the hand with 53,000, showed 25,000 behind at that point and gave it plenty of consideration. He even lifted his hole cards up to his cap, and eventually folded the KsKh face up. Karran built his stack to 100,000, while Maniez was cut down to starting stack once again.
15 minutes break, followed by two further levels of 40 minutes each.
