Didier Slips Further

$1,675 NLHE Event #25 Day 1b 73/121

Level 10: 400-800 / Ante 100

Jean-Pierre Didier used his usual tactics and put lots of pressure on opponents when in the hand. The pot was more than 20,000 after a large bet on the Jd 10d 8h flop and the Js on the turn paired the board. Didier shoved from early position against Gerald Mortensen and the latter tanked and then called after plenty of consideration.

Mortensen: Qh Qd

Didier: As 9s

The 10h on the river was a blank and Mortensen stood up to get some fresh air. He doubled for 16,200 and is right back in the game while Didier slipped to around 40,000.
