Day 1b of the Warm Up is Calling
In half an hour from now at 6 p.m. local time, the Casino Royale on Sint Maarten is once again calling poker enthusiasts to the tables for the second of three starting days of the 2017 TK Poker Tour $250 Warm Up. Yesterday’s first flight saw a total of 31 entries and 5 re-entries to create a 36-entry strong field, and seven of them bagged up.
Since the participants were busting rather quickly, tournament stuff called it a day after 12 instead of the 15 scheduled levels of 25 minutes each. Belkacem Habassi bagged up the biggest stack with 82,800 followed by Richard Smith with 73,500. Poker Royale boss Peter Hajszan from the card room in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, also made it through with one bullet, claiming 59,300.
There will be a dinner break after the end of level four and the registration remains open until the end of level nine, re-entries are also available during this period as well. Bagging and tagging should take place around 1 a.m. local time.
