Adam Bows Out
$1,150 TKPT Main Event Day 1c 30/49
Level 7: 200-400 / Ante 50
That was it for Jean Luc Adam. A roller coaster day that saw him quickly bust on the first bullet, ran up the second attempt to around 60,000, and now it’s all gone while Belkacem Habassi recovered to 50,000. It was not Habassi though that sent Adam to the rail, but rather Günther Schuster that had arrived on the table a few minutes ago.
On the heads-up flop of AcJh5d, both players invested 1,900 each and Schuster then check-raised the 8h turn from 2,200 to 4,400. Adam called and had around 9,500 behind. The 5h appeared on the river and Schuster bet 3,100, Adam moved all in and was quickly called.
“I have nothing,” Adam shrugged and showed 4c3s for a busted straight draw. Schuster had that beat with AsQd and moved up to 47,000.
